Description of Duties:

The Deputy Facilities Operations and Maintenance Manager supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. This position will be a key leader for the 24x7 operations and maintenance team supporting the Missile Defense Agency. The duties of this role include:
• Oversight of facility CMMS to include asset validation, work order management, labor hour tracking, and job plan reviews.
• Day to day management of 24 hour maintenance team at a dynamic 600,000 square foot facility that includes data centers, operational floors, and office/cubical spaces.
• Develop relationship with government customers and building tenant leadership to provide world class facility service for building customers.
• Assist in Facilities related process document reviews and trainings.
• Lead the Facilities Operations and Maintenance calibration program
• Serve as assistant company and functional manager and time card approver of Facilities Operations and Maintenance team members.
• Assist in deconfliction of all Facilities Operations and Maintenance efforts with MDA event or mission partners.
• Manage/confirm completion on time completion of all MDA and Company trainings for the Facilities Operations and
• Maintenance team.
• Develops and implements personnel training, qualification, and certification plans.
• Manages 10+ outside contractors to perform maintenance on specific systems, to include elevators, UPS systems, energy management control systems, HVAC, power monitoring, rodent control, grease trap cleaning, etc.
• Creates situational reports for critical equipment and develops procedures to manage system anomalies, accidents, fires, and other emergencies.
• Supports Facilities Operations and Maintenance Manager with other department leadership duties as needed.

This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO.

This position is expected to pay $119,000 - $144,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 14 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 12 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 10 years of general experience; Master's degree and 8 years of general experience
• Must have 8 years directly related experience
• Must have 2 years in management or leadership roles
• Experience working with government customers
• Must have, or be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance

Desired Requirements:
• Hold CMRP or CMRT Certification
• Have hands on familiarity with or certifications in Infrared Thermography, Vibration Analysis or Ultrasonic Inspection.
• Familiarity with Siemens Desigo, Siemens Insight and Eaton Foreseer
• Familiarity with Maximo as a CMMS
• Hold a Journeyman or higher level Electrical License in the state of Colorado.
• Hold a Colorado HVAC license
