Roles and Responsibilities

The Strategic Sales Executive is responsible for establishing relationships with potential clients and maintaining/expanding relationships with existing clients as a means of identifying, developing and securing profitable business opportunities for the company. The Strategic Sales Executive will utilize internal network and resources in the development and delivery of sales presentations designed to demonstrate the organization's capabilities and capacity to meet the needs of the client.

Essential Functions:
  • Identify prospective clients, develop sales strategy and goals and execute on the same.
  • Work with prospective clients to determine needs, match capabilities to develop offering, services
  • Build on existing client relationships by developing need for additional, broader scope of services, new concepts
  • Crafts and delivers presentations to clients, prospects and potential clients
  • Secures production and service contracts and RFPs
  • Produces requests for estimates by means of established procedures and guidelines
  • Functions as liaison with client and internal team, managing clients expectations and communicating requirements and details to appropriate resources within the company i.e. design, graphics, project management, production, account management,
  • Utilize the internal tools and partner with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to the client
  • Ensures proper invoicing and payment procedures are executed
  • Attend regular project team meetings
  • Develop plans to assist in revenue growth year over year
  • Update all reports weekly including HubSpot and SalesTracker

Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience within the event and experiential marketing space
  • Proven and measurable success at networking and leveraging relationship
  • Ability to identify and cultivate business opportunities
  • Ability to effectively interface with a diverse audience
  • Established track record in client retention and organic revenue growth
  • Proven history in leading and managing multiple projects, preferably within the event and experiential marketing space
  • Ability to audit project data and create billing records for client processing
  • Experience working within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal skill set
  • Ability to work independently, self - direct
  • Demonstrated understanding of market indicators and trends
  • PC skills, focus on Microsoft Office Suite, Web
