Description

Overview: As a Precast Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of precast concrete projects from initiation to completion. Your primary focus will be on managing schedules, budgets, resources, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely completion of precast concrete projects.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Consult with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services necessary for project execution.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, RFI's, drawings, change orders, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Lead project meetings, communicate updates to stakeholders, and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during project execution.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for precast concrete construction, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including site supervisors, foremen, and construction workers, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as engineering, manufacturing, and logistics, to streamline processes and optimize project outcomes.
  • Monitor project performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among project personnel, promoting a positive work environment conducive to success.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Use feedback to refine project management processes and methodologies.
  • Project managers contribute to the development of bid proposals by providing input on project plans, schedules, methodologies, and deliverables. They ensure that proposals are realistic, achievable, and aligned with the company's capabilities and strategic objectives.


Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the precast concrete industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials, with a focus on precast concrete manufacturing and installation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing construction projects.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus but not required.
