Job Description

Experian Verification Solutions

We would love for you to join us at Experian in building a Verifications Solutions product suite and helping us to shape the industry's transformation around delivering income and employment data.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Innovation Specialist for Experian Verification Solutions, to help drive innovative client centric solutions from the idea stage to full scale product rollout. The ideal candidate, is detail oriented, drives for results and has a high standard for quality.

Key areas of responsibility include: evaluating opportunities to leverage Income and Employment data, providing input into product requirements (user stories), gathering competitive market analysis, and ensuring easy client use of solutions once they are live. This role requires someone who can operate at a fast pace, is comfortable with team/customer feedback, and capable of overseeing several large projects with direction from senior product managers.

You should have experience identifying, evaluating, and recommending strong client centric solution opportunities leveraging an innovative mindset. You will partner with a broad array of internal stakeholders including other members of our Development, Product, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing teams.

What you'll be doing
  • Identify new product opportunities and enhancements through discussions with clients, business partners, team members and understanding the market/industry direction
  • Collaborate with other Experian Business Units to help define, align, scope, prioritize, implement, launch, learn, and enhance product features that create solutions applicable to clients.
  • Define, document, and articulate detailed product and business requirements for new products and major enhancements to existing products, including but not limited to: functional, non-functional, and reporting requirements and use cases in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that products and product capabilities deliver an optimal user experience, conform to the product requirements, and meet product quality standards with a holistic approach to customer experience across all customer touch points including website, mobile app, email/SMS/push notification, call center agent scripting, etc.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, and other Product Managers to manage all stages of the product development lifecycle process to ensure that the specified product, enhancement, or functionality is released on time with quality.


Qualifications

What your background looks like
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Mgmt, Data Science, Business, or a technical field preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant product management experience in software, data management, and/or financial services sectors.
  • 5+ years of experience with new product planning and delivery, from concept to feasibility to development and launch
  • Must have experience with key product management functions, including writing requirements/user stories, creating mocks/wireframes, market research, competitive analysis, product planning and reporting.
  • Must be metrics and results driven.
  • Experience in defining and developing products to meet customer requirements from inception to launch
