Long Description

Southwire is taking talent development to the next level and is looking for a passionate Senior Learning & Development Specialist eager to make an impact in a growing company. As a Senior L&D Specialist, you will be a key player in developing and delivering learning strategies for our enterprise teams, facilitating, and creating learning opportunities, and executing programs that will make a deep impact. This role has oversight responsibilities for the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, administration, promotion, and facilitation of Southwire's Leadership Development programs, processes, and initiatives at all levels. This will include and is not limited to new leaders through senior leadership and high-potential leadership development programs. The goal of these leadership development programs and initiatives is to significantly enhance the growth in the professional leadership capacity of all leadership career bands to increase Southwire's overall impact in key business metrics.

The Senior L&D Specialist will be accountable for the following:
• Lead and conduct needs assessments by evaluating knowledge, skill levels, and organizational needs to determine performance gaps and appropriate training and development solutions.
• Design, implement, and facilitate leadership, organizational development, and talent/performance lifecycle initiatives and programs based on strategic objectives and/or department needs.
• Create and facilitate innovative development experiences specifically for leaders at all levels, from first-time leaders to experienced executives for both instructor-led in-person and virtual cohort-based programs.
• Work as a strategic partner across the business with P&C colleagues and other stakeholders in the development and implementation of leadership programs to support enterprise talent development needs.
• Facilitate instructor-led workshops and learning events on a variety of topics, such as leadership, management skills, professional power skills, team building, coaching, mentoring, and emotional intelligence.
• Design blended learning solutions using creative, innovative, and evidence-based approaches; and work with subject-matter experts to develop dynamic learning sessions and programs for in-person and virtual instructor-led courses and learning solutions.
• Drive personalized coaching, mentoring, and talent-building assessment initiatives to individuals, leaders, and teams using various coaching models and assessment tools.
• Analyze data to evaluate business impact; Interpret results, present findings, and propose solutions.
• Implement and manage evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions against performance and business expectations.
• Develop operational and communication plans to boost training program visibility and engagement.
