Primary Purpose:

"Fanatics, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced individual to join our digital marketing team, with a specific focus on paid search. The Senior eMarketing Specialist should be highly competent in managing large sets of keywords and possess a solid understanding of best practices with Google from a search engine marketing perspective. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience working on paid search, shopping campaigns, or similar keyword/product-based advertising methodologies.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who can efficiently analyze large sets of data, interpret trends, and translate findings into actionable and measurable business outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to expand your already extensive knowledge of the wider eMarketing industry within a world-class digital marketing team. The candidate will contribute to improving skills and providing insights on trends while working on a highly visible marketing channel.

The individual should enjoy solving technical problems and be adept at creating, analyzing, and improving processes. They must be highly analytical, organized, and goal-oriented, with a preference for working in a fast-paced environment. Keeping up with professional and collegiate sports is a plus."

Key responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales and business performance data throughout the entire Fanatics business. Ensure that paid search campaigns are structurally set up to harvest and monetize the right search queries within licensed sports based on insights.
  • Continuously introduce new thoughts and testing ideas in the team roadmap to ensure we are evolving in a frequently changing landscape and testing new strategies.
  • Create new PPC campaigns for onboarding new partners to the Fanatics network. Ensure existing campaigns have support for product launches and drops to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with Google, Bing, and technology partners on feature and technology advancements within the space.
  • Work closely with the eMarketing product team to ensure key features are released and rolled out according to plan.
  • Make decisions and recommendations on spending, ensuring that we allocate dollars in the right places within the portfolio.
  • Partner with other teams within eMarketing to share best practices and continue driving growth.


Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Paid Search (PPC) or Google Shopping.
  • Experience with AI solutions withing digital marketing (tROAS, automating elements of keyword generation)
  • 3-4 years of experience in running Google/Bing campaigns and hands-on optimization of those campaigns.
  • Well-versed in business reporting and can make decisions based on numerical data.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with accessing data and utilizing large databases using SQL is highly desired.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Team player with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with technology product managers and product developers to facilitate product enhancements.
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience utilizing scientific analytic methods, qualitative methods, and quantitative analysis techniques.
  • Commitment to learning new and changing industry developments and best practices.
  • Exceedingly detail-oriented and responsible.
  • Ability to change focus easily and multitask.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Must be willing to dedicate time outside of normal business hours to launch advertising for major sporting events (i.e., College National Championships, Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, etc.).
