We are seeking an experienced and driven Vice President of Sales to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a sales team, identify market potentials, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management. This role demands a leader with the ability to drive sales, manage a team and partner with other business leaders to form strategic plans.Job Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train and develop a sales team to achieve sales goals.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
  • Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
  • MUST HAVE A VALID Life & Health license, Series 7 and Series 66
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a sales role, preferably within the finance or insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in a business.
  • Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Nice-to-haves:
  • MBA or equivalent qualification would be a valuable asset.
  • Prior experience at MassMutual or a similar industry firm will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.
  • High level of acumen about changing market scenarios and potential business risks.
  • Awareness and understanding of latest technological improvements applicable to the financial sector.
