As a Senior Manager of International Tax Services, you will lead the delivery of comprehensive international tax services and provide strategic advice to U.S. and foreign high net worth individuals and private clients. This role demands a proactive approach to tax planning and structuring to ensure efficient tax compliance and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead research and consulting efforts on tax-efficient structuring tailored for the private client environment.
  • Guide clients through the complexities of international tax developments and provide actionable recommendations for pass-through entities and individuals.
  • Perform in-depth primary and secondary reviews of intricate international tax returns, with a focus on Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 3520-A, and 8288.
  • Exhibit expertise in handling foreign trusts, international gift and estate planning, and pre-immigration tax planning.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of tax professionals, overseeing tax projects and conducting performance assessments for engagement and year-end reviews.
  • Ensure active and effective communication with clients to manage expectations, guarantee satisfaction, meet deadlines, and facilitate successful change initiatives.
  • Act as a business advisor, delivering insights on business and process improvements to clients.
  • Collaborate with partners, managers, and staff to foster a team approach to client service and new business development, integrating practice development skills.
  • Engage with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls, strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities for service expansion.
  • Drive the recruitment and professional development of senior associates and associates, encouraging the achievement of performance goals and career growth.
  • Commit to regular professional development and training to maintain cutting-edge knowledge in international tax practices and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, complemented by a CPA, master's in taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD.
  • Over ten years of progressive tax consulting experience, ideally with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or the tax department of a multinational corporation.
  • Exceptional analytical, technical, and tax accounting skills, with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, and consulting.
  • A minimum of five years dedicated to international taxation, with preferred experience in inbound and outbound transaction consulting, multinational corporation management, transfer pricing, and foreign tax credit utilization.
