Job Summary:

The Human Resources Business Partner, Talent Acquisition, is responsible for aligning business objectives and recruitment efforts with management of assigned business unit(s). The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and candidates that reflect the business objectives of the organization. Providing excellent, proactive, candidate-focused support, partnering with designated business leaders is key to deliver organizational performance through excellent people management, great working environment and the recruitment and retention of talent. This is a high-volume, highly visible role and the incumbent must exhibit exceptional organization skills, excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling competing priorities.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the organization's leadership, developing programs and policies to support the organization's vision, values, and direction.
  • Manages the recruitment programs for the hourly workforce and supports the development of programs, such as Transportation, Visa Programs, Reentry Programs, local and state Veteran job fairs, Community activities, Job Fairs, etc.
  • Proactively develops and maintains high impact and employee-focused working relationships with designated people leaders, understanding their business and operational labor challenges.
  • Proactively develops and participates in federal and state programs to increase workforce flow of veterans, minorities, and people with disabilities, as well as program workers.
  • Leverages technology to enhance the quality of brand and recruitment marketing.
  • Working with the HR electronic system and undertakes regular reporting of key people indicators across the business units.
  • Champions the use of people metrics to shape and monitor people practices and hot spots. Provides client specific data for reporting requirements.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies around recruitment and marketing of the hourly workforce.
  • Leads and facilitates specific resourcing plans and programs to increase the amount of hourly workforce in all processing facilities.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of recruiting hourly employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with leadership team and employees to advise both on recruitment related and organizational matters.
  • Travel to facilities as required to participate in recruitment programs and events, and the development of recruitment programs to support processing facilities.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required or equivalent experience; master's degree in human resources or business administration preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in human resource management preferred.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
