A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE

Our exciting and entrepreneurial culture will allow you to think creatively, solve problems and meet the needs of our clients daily. A typical day might include the following:

  • Manage and maintain project schedules and financial requirements
  • Work closely with the owner of the facility, representing the client and LJA
  • Uses advanced techniques, theory, precepts and practices in a specialized engineering field and related sciences and disciplines.
  • Project Managerwill interact with Client and other consultants and must have strong communication skills.
  • Will serve a management role on GEC and CEC programs for TXDOT, Regional Mobility Authorities, and other large agencies.


"MUST HAVE" QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal employees
  • 10-15 years of experience with MicroStation, Geopak (or Open Roads) and TxDOT procedures
  • Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs
  • Proven experience in handling project management responsibilities including multiple deadlines
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Program Management experience preferred.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Previous work experience in an AEC related firm
  • Previous experience co-locating with client for periods of a project
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team Mentality
  • Experience with MicroStation ORD is a plus
