URBN Operations Manager (Days)
URBN (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie Group, Free People & Nuuly) - Gap, PA
Candidate must have an advanced understanding of E-commerce, Wholesale and Retail replenishment fulfillment to successfully execute in a multi-channel fulfillment center. They must flourish in a fast pace and a production goal-oriented environment. The ability to anticipate, solve problems, multi-task with an attention to detail is essential. Individuals must be a motivated team player with a positive attitude and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working experience utilizing various MHE automation methods such as cross belt unit and shipping sorters, high density wave/tote buffer and pack to wall packing method, WMS (Manhattan) and OMS (Sterling) is highly desired.

Shift: Wednesday - Saturday; 6:00am - 4:30pm

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate between Direct, Wholesale and Retail replenishment operations to ensure that proper workflow is achieved on he shift.
• Interact with management and cross-functional employees to resolve issues affecting overall operations.
• Ability to develop working relationships at all organizational levels.
• Develop, coach and mentor supervisors, leads and associates for future advancement.
• Set clear performance expectations and give appropriate recognition for performance.
• Enforce progressive disciplinary policies with department supervisors.
• Address associate's needs and communicate the issues to the department Sr. Ops Manager, Director and Human Resources.
• Identify preventive maintenance and safety concerns.
• Assure that LP controls are being followed.
• Participate in and/or conduct start up meeting.
• Inspect the quality of work and accuracy.
• Cross train Associates in all departments to build depth in all departments.
• Provide necessary equipment and supplies to support staff.
• Assist in all departments as needed.
• All other duties assigned by Director.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:
• College degree in Logistics, Business, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 5 years of post-college experience in direct-to-consumer fulfillment environment.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time.
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time.
• Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e., forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements.

Works in a warehouse environment in all types of weather. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
