About the opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product Operations to join our team. The Director of Product Operations will play a critical role in optimizing our product development processes, ensuring efficient cross-functional collaboration, and driving the successful delivery of our products to market. The objective for this role is to ensure product teams spend time building the right thing at the right time with the objective of helping product teams prioritize their time against company objectives, customer needs/experience and quarterly Product OKRs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, operations, and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll get to do
  • Lead and manage the product operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize product development processes, increase efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across:
    • Build a single source of truth for data encompassing the entire product lifecycle
    • Support planning processes by collaborating closely with product strategy, product management, engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product roadmap initiatives
    • Establish and maintain key performance metrics and dashboards to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making
  • Working closely with support and sales teams to improve the customer experience
  • Drive alignment and communication across teams to ensure smooth coordination and execution of product development initiatives
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability, empowering team members to take ownership of their work and deliver exceptional results
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform product development strategies and drive innovation

Skills and experiences we value
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10 years of experience in product management, operations, or related roles, with a track record of success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, methodologies, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools preferred
  • Prior experience in HCM is a plus
