Manager Fleet Services Fuel and Tolls

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for overseeing the Tolls and Fuel functions within NFI. The primary focus of the position is to manage the team of employees and 3rd party vendors responsible for the day to day activities associated with these departments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Fuel

  • Manages Fleet Services Coordinators to ensure proper flow of workload.
  • Oversees bulk fuel program and ensures a well-diversified portfolio.
  • Oversees OTR fuel program and ensures an efficient network with aggressive discounts.
  • Manages all tax reporting through a third-party vendor.
  • Oversees company fuel card and payments program.
  • Oversees Expert Fuel compliance & issues.
  • Performs analysis for potential truck stops.
  • Oversees daily field related problems and issues.
  • Monitors, reviews and reports compliance for fuel networks.
  • Assists Fleet Services Coordinators with daily responsibilities when needed.
  • Directs all on-site IFTA tax audits.
  • Looks for efficiencies and process improvements where needed.
  • Understand and implement areas for team development.


Tolls

  • Oversees NFI's toll program.
  • Manages the relationship with 3rd party vendor and all necessary tolling authorities.
  • Manages the transponder activation/deactivation process.
  • Oversees and ensures data integrity, vehicle information and interfaces where applicable.
  • Manages the toll violation process and ensures expenses are allocated accurately.
  • Looks for workflow efficiencies and process improvements where needed.


Requirements:

  • BA / BS degree required
  • At least 3-5 years of similar experience
  • Computer applications using MS Office
  • Computer applications using Lawson helpful
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent application of technical skills
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop members of a team
