Job Description Qualifications:

The BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplanes) Engineering Customer Support and Product Development Human Resources team has an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, inclusive team as an Experienced Human Resources Business Partner in Seal Beach, CA.

This individual will provide HR (Human Resources) business partnership to the BCA Engineering Customer Support organization in support of mission priorities. This position requires knowledge and experience as a Human Resources Generalist and the ability to create and deploy integrated HR initiatives. Our teammate will also support the HR Communities of Excellence (CoE) strategy to enable business priorities.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Support the mission of BCA Customer Support as a credible HR knowledge partner, consultant and advisor
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with executive leadership across the Business, Function and HR
  • Assist in shaping and influencing our Business and Function vision, mission, priorities and long-range plans
  • Supports "Best Team & Talent Review" activity for BCA Engineering including affordability/productivity, high-level skill/talent discussions, development programs, resource deployment, etc., including succession planning and regional talent development
  • Partner with the CoEs and local HR teams to ensure understanding and alignment of talent strategy and to ensure planning, execution and realization are achieved through solutions, programs and policies
  • Collaborate with HR peers - both in our businesses and functions - to enable the organization's HR / business strategies, and ensure the efficient delivery of HR products, tools and services
  • Partner with peers and business as an advisor and change agent in the rollout of HR policies, processes or programs such as salary review, leadership development, etc.


This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future. A majority of time will be onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience working in Human Resources
  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Human Resources Certification
  • Human Resources Generalist or Business Partner experience
  • Capability to adapt to changing scope, responsibilities and job requirements
  • Strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication skills, talent management experience, collaboration, independent judgment and the ability to influence others
  • Consultant who knows how to influence others, develop and maintain working relationships, and deliver results and expertise for a business partner in a professional manner
  • Experience with data analytics, identifying trends, escalating risks/concerns, and develop recommendations


Typical Education & Experience:

Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $87,550-$118,450
