The Opportunity:

As a program management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. This role will oversee complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and identify and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and deliver successful outcomes. You'll develop and execute project plans, including scope, timeline, budget and resource allocation and monitor project progress, identify and address issues, implement risk mitigation strategies and escalate as needed. You'll prepare and present project status reports, deliverables, artifacts, documentation and SOPs.

The real impact of project management comes from communication and serving as a change agent to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. As a change agent, you will assess the impact of changes on individuals, leaders, businesses and stakeholders, addressing resistance and fostering a positive change culture. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for change initiatives, and develop and execute communication plans and training programs related to change initiatives and solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate insights into project and change management strategies.

As a leader on our team, you'll help with tactical planning and facilitate cross-functional collaboration and alignment, oversee the execution of key initiatives and special projects, and manage cross organization agendas, logistics, events and leadership meetings. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or change management roles
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, project management tools and data analysis tools
  • Ability to provide executive support and enhance operational effectiveness
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
