Associate Scientist (Tarrytown, NY)

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an Associate Scientist (Tarrytown, NY) to perform molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA isolation and PCR. Generate reports for regulatory filing including high-quality Southern and Northern blot, PCR, Sanger sequencing and qPCR data. Prepare Illumina NGS libraries and analyze NGS data. Record experimental data and methods in electronic laboratory notebooks. Keep data properly formatted and organized. Collaborate effectively and present work in group and departmental meetings.

SALARY RANGE: $75,566.00 - $106,400.00 per year

Job Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field and 1 year of laboratory experience. Must have experience with: Molecular biology techniques such as PCR, plasmid cloning and nucleic acid isolation; Understanding the basic principles of qPCR; Analyzing Sanger sequencing data; Hands-on experience with nucleic acid hybridization; and Microsoft office suite.
