About the opportunity

Dayforce's Product and Technology (P&T) organization is looking for an experienced Change Management leader responsible for defining, planning, and executing the change management practice across our global Cloud Services organization. This leader will improve our existing change management frameworks, ensure compliance across both commercial and public sector environments, and create a culture of change management discipline across P&T. The ideal candidate will bring a deep background in change management, compliance, and ensure a smooth transition of services from engineering to operations while still managing risk for the business.

What you'll get to do

  • Develop a comprehensive change management practice for the Cloud aligned with organizational goals and cloud adoption objectives. This role will mature the existing culture of change management at Dayforce.
  • Manage the lifecycle of all changes within Cloud enabling changes to be made with minimal disruption to our customers or business using ITIL fundamentals.
  • Facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB)and end-to-end change management lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across P&T to understand their needs, concerns, and readiness for change.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives.
  • Work closely with both the Incident and Problem Management teams ensuring changes causing negative impact on our customers are prioritized.
  • Responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of all changes and facilitating changes with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of changes from development to operations.
  • Keep a detailed record of changes, their impacts, and outcomes is an essential aspect of transparency and accountability in change management.
  • Effectively communicate and provide visibility to all changes and develop a comprehensive communication plan to engage with executives, stakeholders, and business users.
  • Train, mentor, educate and guide others in change management processes and principles. Implementing training programs to foster an informed organizational culture.


Skills and Experience we value

  • 7+ years' experience leading a SaaS change management team or being a part of global change management team including working in a highly distributed organization, 24x7 availability of mission critical platforms, and regulatory scrutiny of public sector.
  • 5+ years' experience interfacing with government regulatory agencies, including US and Canada, with the ability to communicate critical regulatory change management requirements and policies across Dayforce.
  • Deep understanding in ITIL-based change management practices, controls, audit, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated success with coordinating service management strategies and improving enterprise operations across organizational boundaries.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies for both public and private clouds.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Change management certification and relevant certifications from AWS, Azure, or GCP are a bonus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow reporting and or PowerBI reporting.
