Role Summary/Purpose:

Synchrony has an immediate opportunity for a driven, entrepreneurial minded marketer to help us grow our Health and Wellness markets. This role is fast paced, and will manage and execute client, partner and multi-channel industry lead gen and lead nurture programs. The role will work with sales, internal teams as well as 3rd party partners to innovate and execute B2B, and B2B2C marketing strategies that drive practice acquisition, engagement, applications, and usage of Synchrony Health & Wellness products. The role will work closely with analytics to monitor results and adjust tactics based on impact. The ideal candidate would have experience with demand gen, growth marketing and digital marketing experience. This person would be able to leverage best practices from other teams across the business, be comfortable partnering with industry thought leaders, publishers, clients, and partners to develop and execute content and programs to drive acquisition and growth.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute B2B and B2B2C multi-channel marketing campaigns including email, direct mail, and digital channels
  • Segmentation and prioritization of target audiences
  • Strategize and execute client-level marketing programs for clients, partners and industry partnerships including B2B2C marketing
  • Partner with specialty team to identify and execute marketing opportunities to build category and brand awareness with physicians, patients, and thought leaders
  • Collaborate with sales on marketing strategies to prospect, acquire, and grow relationships
  • Manage development of educational online and offline content (webinars, videos, case studies, and white papers) working with KOLs, clients, partners and publishers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage industry B2B paid advertising (print and digital)
  • Manage educational trade events and sponsorships
  • Innovate and execute offers, pricing and promotions with sales & finance
  • Partner with analytics teams to measure impact, leverage data to drive future campaigns
  • Obtain industry intelligence with research and sales
  • Lead cross-functional projects
  • Executive level presentation development and delivery
  • Manage budget including forecasting and tracking
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 8 years of marketing experience identified below
  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience that includes innovating and executing comprehensive B2B & B2B2C multi-channel marketing campaigns including email, direct mail and digital channels
  • A minimum of 2 years client-facing experience in a sales, marketing, or business development capacity
  • Ability to travel ~20%

Desired Characteristics:
  • Healthcare marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Business to business and consumer marketing experience
  • Background in demand gen and growth marketing with digital experience preferred.
  • Experience interpreting and leveraging data to determine the success of the marketing campaign
  • Experience managing creative agencies, research, or analytic partners
  • Strong working knowledge of multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Able to translate data insights into actionable recommendations and programs
  • Curious, flexible, high energy, self-starter with an emphasis on action rather than analysis
  • Strategic minded with ability to tie marketing plans and tactics to business goals/objectives
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, complex, environment and manage multiple projects with little supervision
  • Collaborative team player with ability to influence across all levels of organization
  • Executive verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing email marketing programs leveraging automation platforms

Grade/Level: 10

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • N ew hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
