Overview

The Enablement & Operations (E&O) team enables Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) organization to better serve every person and organization's transformation and economic success. How? We design, build, and manage the levers that accelerate commercial growth-including compensation, business performance and insights, planning, skilling, and tooling and engineering.

We are looking to hire a Communications Manager within E&O plays a pivotal role in this journey and is responsible for maximizing the scale, impact, and voice of our leaders and the amazing work our E&O team produces. Simply put: we focus on creating effective communications so every person-whether they're an employee within E&O or elsewhere in MCAPS-can be successful in their role. We do this with two key areas of focus:
  1. Executive communications that are focused on scaling the voice of our leaders so employees can feel empowered, informed, and inspired.
  1. Strategic communications in support of key priorities; by developing the strategy, collaborating with, and orchestrating across multiple teams, we bring to life the various materials needed to support key business programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with a variety of stakeholders to create communications that inform and facilitate employee engagement across E&O, including:
  • Steering internal event execution, including presentation content and logistics.
  • Crafting communications and campaigns for various key initiatives sponsored within our E&O executive office. This includes PowerPoint slides, news articles, video scripts and more!
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify opportunities to streamline and simplify experiences for our audiences.
  • Testing and learning
  • Leverage our Comms
  • Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework, monitor, track, and analyze the impact of and responses to our communication efforts.
  • Coordinate data analysis from surveys and feedback channels to help measure, plan, and inform efforts.
  • Regularly assesses performance and optimize your comms.
  • Embrace a test and learn mentality, experimenting and sharing learnings.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience OR equivalent experience.


Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years specialized functional (e.g., retail, technology) experience.*
  • 3+ years experience supporting senior executives in an executive communications role.*
  • 3+ years experience working with social media platforms.*


Communications IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
