Position: Principal Product Manager

Duties: Ensures alignment of product vision, strategy, and status with the executive leadership team's priorities and vision by developing and maintaining relationships with key business owners and senior management; and communicating key product metrics to executive leadership team. Develops and champions a product vision and strategy for a product team managing multiple portfolios by researching and recommending new products, tools, and applications; supporting product managers to uncover latent customer needs, competitive threats, and emerging trends through research; working with product managers to develop clear and complete business case presentations for senior management; ensuring product managers use accurate and robust financial modeling and scenario analysis for major initiatives; and identifying resources needed to execute product roadmap based on demand, priority, and capacity. Oversees team members' work on multiple portfolios throughout the product life cycle by questioning and clarifying the cross-functional implications of all product decisions; ensuring critical business issues are considered; serving as the voice of the customer in product decisions that impact customer experience; ensuring team members' product specifications meet high standards for quality before product team approval; championing the prioritization of initiatives to Product Management leadership; guiding product managers to ensure product specifications are understood by Engineering; supporting team members as they interact with the development team; overseeing pilot testing of new product and proof of concept initiatives; and coaching product managers as they consider changes to project scope, timeline, or resources. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field plus 3 years of experience in product management, or related experience OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field plus 6 years of experience in product management, or related experience.

Skills required: Must have experience with: identifying data points and segmentation to build business use-cases, including gathering requirements with a product vision; Data analysis and extraction, and measuring KPI Metrics using SQL, EDW, Google Analytics, and Tableau; Product road mapping to meet objectives using JIRA and VersionOne; translating business use cases into technical requirements for optimizations and web development using XML, API's, SOAP UI Testing and UI/UX design; prototyping, A/B Testing and Design Verification, including demonstrating capabilities and post launch testing for UX Design Features; Technical writing including planning document creation, features, personas, and process flows for current and future states and breaking down complex product concepts to clear requirements and data to support a business case with business impacts; using tools Confluence, JQL, or JIRA; translating the Product Vision and its technical parts of product strategy for engineering teams and stakeholders to prioritize and influence the best benefit of the product and alignment; using tools such as Presentation PPT, Confluence, JIRA, VersionOne, Excel, or Visio; Product Management, including creating and tracking timelines for execution, change management, user tracking, idea capture and collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft teams, Zoom, Google Drive, or One Drive - SharePoint; Agile Planning and Execution from a Product Owner running Scrum activities including Sprint planning, Backlog Grooming, PI Planning, Retrospective meetings, Sprint Demo's, and PI Demos; and Data reporting to measure and improve KPI, including data pull for customer impacting metrics and data assortment, and Inventory accuracy using SQL, Tableau, and Power BI Dashboards.
