The Master Scheduler will implement and oversee engineering and production schedules for all projects within the Electrification division. In this role you will be collaborating with project managers, shop supervisors, and engineers by preparing project progress and performance evaluation reports.

Requirements

  • Develops, maintains, and coordinates technical schedules for large to medium scale projects from proposal level to detailed level schedules.
  • Coordinates data inputs from the various disciplines and functions to ensure accurate forecasts and reporting of schedule.
  • Engages the Project Management team to understand causes of the deviation and the need to establish actions to mitigate, where deviations from established tolerances occur.
  • Maintains schedule during the Project/Turnaround life cycle monitoring progress and incorporating modifications where changes in the original scope occur or delays are encountered.
  • Schedule equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively to key stakeholders on quotation requirements, improvements, and status updates; this includes close collaboration with Sales, R&D, Purchasing (Supply Chain), Project Management, Scheduling, Production, and Materials Management.
  • Contributes to improvement of Schedule Management Work Process and leveraging of learning experiences.

Required Skills
  • Advanced experience in Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with customers on long-term projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with production personnel, designers, engineers, management, customers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and customers, balancing customer needs and requests with production and delivery availability.
  • Complex problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills in interaction with internal and external customers.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.

Required Education & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project management and designing, analyzing, and implementing integrated project and master schedules.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related fields, preferred.
  • Experience in related scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, etc)

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk.
  • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking.
  • Some lifting (up to 30 lbs.).
