The Role and What You'll Do:

The Resource Director role requires a comprehensive grasp of organizational structure, staffing, and financial resources to efficiently and effectively execute multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities include conducting weekly check-ins with team members to assess actual allocations and workloads, holding weekly meetings with heads of Creative, and Project Management departments, as well as Client Teams to distribute internal personnel resources among projects, and overseeing freelance outreach and onboarding in collaboration with Recruitment and Creative Operations.

As the point person for communicating the status of freelance resourcing efforts internally, the Resource Director maintains responsibility for securing and onboarding freelance talent within schedule and budget constraints. This entails managing booking dates, resolving conflicts, negotiating extensions, and communicating any alterations to engagement terms. Moreover, the role involves refining resource management processes and continually expanding and managing networks of freelancer databases to ensure prompt staffing of projects within the Creative Team.

Superb verbal and written communication skills will be critical for success in this role.

  • Adaptable, proactive, and motivating, with a track record of sourcing and recruiting top-tier candidates across various creative and project management roles.
  • Demonstrates the energy and determination required to oversee staff and drive the success and growth of resources within the Consumer Brands department.
  • History of fostering collaborative and impactful partnerships with dynamic creative and project management leads.


You Have These:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an advertising agency or similar environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Marketing/Communications, or related field.
  • Professional demeanor with a willingness to give and receive feedback.


  • Proven track record of successfully resourcing talent within project or resource management roles, preferably in a fast-paced agency setting.
  • Familiarity with processes for delivering high-quality campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Social, Digital, Branding, Experiential).
  • Ability to effectively manage internal resources and secure additional resources within established timelines and budgets.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns while monitoring milestones, resource performance, and account requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Mac OS programs, particularly Excel
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
