The Senior Manager, Equipment Procurement is responsible for developing/executing sourcing strategies and ensuring supply of approximately $400MM in spend related to QSR restaurant kitchen equipment. This position relies on internal and external collaboration, good organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead the execution of business strategies via the strategic sourcing process. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for coordinating alignment for Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeye's & Firehouse Subs. The Procurement Manager will actively prioritize and manage the following key activities and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
  • Creates & executes procurement strategy for assigned category(ies) including sourcing and contingencies
  • Participate in "higher order" Procurement skills such as Industry and Market Analysis, TCO and "should-cost" analysis, all facets of Demand Management, SRM and Risk Mitigation
  • Identify and exploit emerging technologies and trends
  • Generate and deliver cost savings
  • Drive key strategic Procurement initiatives
  • Implement effective, comprehensive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers to ensure supply, control pricing, and mitigate risk
  • Develop collaborative relationships with all RBI Brand partners and cross functional counterparts in Supply Chain, NPI, Finance, Legal, Marketing, IT, HR, etc.
  • Leverage relationship with category business leaders to develop an in-depth understanding of RBI's current and future business needs
  • Stay current on new laws/policies that impact RBI's compliance relative to sourcing & supply contracts
  • Ensure contract disputes and supplier issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Travel occasionally as business needs dictate


Qualifications:
  • BS or BA in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other business-related fields
  • 5-7+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Operations or Procurement
  • Team player with effective communication and problem-solving skills as well as leadership capabilities
  • Track record of successful vendor management and supply chain continuity
  • Develops financial models to analyze deals and offers to determine viability and profitability
  • Strong analytical skills (researching, analyzing and interpreting data)
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Category specific purchasing experience preferred
  • QSR, food processing, retail or CPG experience preferred
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
