We are looking for atalented Software Development Manager to join our technical team at theSaskatoon research & development site of Siemens EDA. We developleading-edge chip design software that is used by some of the world's largesttechnology companies, recently highlighted here: https://aws.amazon.com/partners/success/arm-siemens-eda/.

At Siemens EDA, wedevelop custom software (https://eda.sw.siemens.com/en-US/ic/solido/) to solve problems in circuit verification, design automation, andother specialized fields within the semiconductor industry. Solutions are foundthrough approaches such as machine learning, statistical analysis, and advanced(and patented!) techniques. You will be working at the cutting-edge of softwaredevelopment with industry-leading customers at one of the largest companies inthe world. This position is located in brand-new and state-of-the-art officesat Innovation Place in Saskatoon, SK, Canada.

Job Duties:
• Managebetween 4-6 members within a larger software development team.
• Leadtechnical projects to design, develop and implement new technology to solvesome of the world's most challenging problems.
• Use Python and/or C++ to prototype ideasand design new solutions.
• Work with a top-notch technical team,here in Saskatoon and around the world, to ensure our leading electronic designautomation products evolve to meet the changing expectations of our customers.
• Collaborate directly with technologyexperts at major semiconductor companies to define, develop, and deliver newproducts and product features.

Job Qualifications:
• Demonstrated leadership skillsand personnel management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects thatrequire challenging technical solutions in a collaborativeenvironment.
• Demonstrated expertise in some or all ofthe following: object-oriented programming (Python and/or C++), Linux, testing,source control (Git), algorithms, debugging, profiling, GUI design (Qt).
• Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills; demonstrated through presentations, emails, softwaredocumentation, collecting customer requirements, and communicating with teammembers.
• A team player; an ability to provide andbe receptive of constructive feedback; mentor and teach others on the team.
• Customer-focused; have the ability toprioritize tasks based on customer experience and ROI.
• Willingness to learn and interested innew challenges.
• Nice-to-have expertise: Statistics (MonteCarlo analysis), test automation, transistor-level circuit design, EDA CADtools, SQL, and release management.
• Must be available to work from ourSaskatoon facility.
