Human Resources Business Partner, Lead
Key Role:

Partner with leaders to guide and support employee performance, behavior, workplace conflict, and risk management. Work in partnership with business leaders to comprehend team and individual performance or behavior concerns, recommend strategies to improve performance or address behavioral issues, follow up for successful completion, and monitor for improvement. Identify, resolve, and escalate barriers and risks in a timely manner, and serve as a champion of change to drive adoption of innovative approaches, programs, and technologies. Contribute to the strategic direction, formulation, and implementation of Human Resources (HR) operations, and drive process optimization and positive employee experience. Evaluate the employee environment using data and insights to identify gaps and drive opportunities for improvement. Engage partners across Security Services, Legal, Ethics, Compliance and Investigations as needed to assess risk and finalize employee disciplinary actions, or terminations as needed. Facilitate and document complex HR investigations, including mediation and conflict resolution. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience supporting and communicating with senior leaders to manage difficult, complex employee performance and behavior situations
  • Experience partnering with key stakeholders, including Security Services, Legal, Ethics, and Investigations, to discuss risk mitigation strategies related to employee behaviors or employment concerns
  • Experience acting as trusted advisor to executive leaders on policy, program, or risk mitigation questions or concerns
  • Experience identifying areas for process optimization and ways to operate more efficiently
  • Experience acting as escalation point for HR team members to advise on difficult employee matters
  • Experience contributing to content for client education and training programs in the HR field
  • Experience using data insights and analytics to comprehend trends and develop solutions that lead to measurable impact on an organization
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of and utilization of HR technology
  • Bachelor's degree


Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with Workday HRIS
  • Experience with Employee Relations
  • Possession of excellent analytical, conflict-resolution, and critical thinking skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or Human Resources Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
