Job Responsibilities

Provides end user support to AASHTOWare Construction and Materials users by answering questions and problem solving. Serves as System Administrator for AASHTOWare Construction and Materials. Develops policy and procedures to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency. Trains end users in the correct usage of AASHTOWare Construction and Materials. Works with development of reports and ad-hoc queries of construction related data. Handles external user's accounts and enforces existing policies to meet the agency directives. Serves as the SCDOT liaison for AASHTOWare Technical Advisory Group Construction Management to advise how to enhance existing application. Assists with project closeout in AASHTOWare Construction and Materials. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management and five (5) years of engineering or construction management work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.

The physical demands for the essential functions involves sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods of time. This position may require occasional travel. May require bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, climbing, balancing, and kneeling. Walking for extended periods, treading rough terrain, working in close proximity to motoring traffic, and in natural environmental hazards. May be required to work outside normal business hours or respond to emergency situations.
