We also produce events across the US and globally to engage and activate our enthusiastic customers and prospects. Salesforce is seeking a hard-working Manager/Senior Manager, Experience Strategy to join our team.

As the Manager/Senior Manager, Experience Strategy at Salesforce, you will lead the development and execution of cloud and industry event experiences across our strategic event portfolio, encompassing both in person and virtual formats. Working closely with internal teams such as Event Operations, Ancillaries, and Content, you will shape immersive event experiences for flagship events like Dreamforce, CNX, TDX, TC, and World Tours. Your role is pivotal in driving awareness of new launches and products, generating buyer demand, and contributing to pipeline and ACV growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a single point of contact for all event-related matters for Product Marketing, Product, and Sales, actively participating in Product/Industry business meetings to ensure alignment with launches and business priorities, including international teams.
  • Collaborate on experience strategy for one or more event portfolios including World Tours, Paid User Conferences (Connections, TrailblazerDx, Tableau Conference), Virtual Events and Dreamforce, working cross-functionally to identify event vision, key experience framework, messaging/positioning, audience acquisition strategy. Prioritize key products, industries, and launch moments across events.
  • Lead integrated quarterly planning calls with cloud/industry business leads across campaigns, field marketing, and product marketing to understand priorities and formulate/update a comprehensive event plan.
  • Assist in determining the strategic presence for cloud/industry across the entire event portfolio, including campground, content, and ancillary allocations.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive event calendar for specific cloud/industry initiatives.
  • Create overviews and recaps for each event outlining Product/Industry presence, participation, and results, shared via designated channels and meetings.
  • Collect and report on event performance metrics, providing insights on a regular basis.
  • Present event updates and results to Strategic Events, PMM, Sales, and Product leadership on a regular basis.
  • Identify and prioritize key products, industries, and launch moments across events.
  • Work collaboratively across the strategic events team to organize support for your Product/Industry. Regularly partnering with content, ancillary events, third-party events, and event ops to source support.


Qualifications:
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the technology industry or events marketing.
  • Experience with virtual events.
  • Exceptional project and time management skills - highly organized, detail focused, results oriented, and accountable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a solid ability to deal professionally with senior executives, vendors, and team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $132,800 to $225,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
